Mixed Martial Arts: Step In, Stay Strong!

White Dragon’s Mixed Martial Arts program is crafted to create versatile, well-rounded martial artists who can excel both in the ring and in real-world self-defense situations. What sets our training apart is its seamless integration of the most effective fighting techniques from traditional Chinese martial arts. Our goal is simple: to ensure you’re confident and capable at every range of combat—whether standing, in the clinch, or on the ground.

Real-World Fighting: Train for Any Scenario

Through the practice of Chinese Kickboxing, or “San Da,” students master powerful kicks, strikes, and takedowns. We then introduce “Push Hands,” a stand-up grappling technique from Tai Chi that enhances the ability to fight by feel. This method teaches you to use an opponent’s energy against them, turning their moves into your counter-attacks. To complete the training, we incorporate submission grappling (similar to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu but without the gi), ensuring students gain a full range of close-quarters and ground-fighting skills. Try a free week of training and experience what you’ve been missing!

Safety and Health Are Our Top Priorities

While many White Dragon students achieve success in the ring or cage, we understand that not everyone aims for a professional career. Regardless of your goals, your health and safety are always our top priority. Whether you’re training one-on-one with a skilled instructor or working in a class with fellow students, we ensure that the highest safety practices are followed at all times. Comprehensive Training in Jiu-Jitsu, Grappling, and MMA

Because of the rise of the UFC and mixed martial arts, Jiu-Jitsu and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) have gained tremendous popularity. As a result, many people wanting to learn martial arts often begin their searches with terms like “Gracie Jiu-Jitsu”, or “BJJ”. While these are definitely solid systems, they are by no means the only way to learn how to fight on the ground.

Did you know that the roots of most throwing and grappling arts can be traced back to the fighting systems practiced in ancient China? In fact, the roots of Jiu-Jitsu can be traced back to Chin Na, the age-old Chinese art of joint-locking. Similarly, Judo and Aikido can be traced back to Shuai Chiao, a Chinese throwing art dating back to 700 BC! Food for thought? Or, just another reason to train from the source: White Dragon Martial Arts!
